Avalanche Lake Ooty (9:00 am – 3:00 pm)

Avalanche Lake Ooty is best place for a family and adventure lovers, Surrounded by mountains and covered by lovely flowers.

Needle Rock View Point (8:00 am – 6:00 pm)

Hidden gem located on the Ooty-Mysore route in a place called Gudalur, Have to walk in narrow trek by few meters to reach the peak. Can see beautiful cliff and view of Mudumalai National Park

Wenlock Downs Ooty (9:00 am – 6:00 pm)

Full of green grass land that stretches your eye and it doesn’t seem to end no matter how much you walk. It looks like a foreign shooting spot.

Catherine Falls Coonoor (6:00 am – 6:00 pm)

Catherine Falls lets you enjoy a beautiful waterfall falling from an altitude of 250 feet. It is a hidden gem in Coonoor and unique place for families to relax and rejuvenate in the hand touchable passing misty clouds. Can bath in the summer season and see the view of Mettupalayam city.

Dolphin’s Nose Coonoor (9:00 am – 6:00 pm)

A wonderful picnic sport to spend with family in the misty air. Can see Catherine Falls in full length view via binocular. This hill top look like a nose of a dolphin is surprising you. Iconic place to surprise your loveable family members.

Sim’s Park Coonoor (9:00 am – 6:00 pm)

Located in Conoor with less crowed than other parks in Ooty. This park have lot of old trees and small boat house best for kids. Sim’s Park is a wonderful park-cum-botanical garden developed around the natural contours of the land by J.D. Sims and Major Murray in the year of 1874.

Pykara Waterfalls (8:30 am – 5:00 pm)

Pykara River and the waterfalls is the most beautiful and classic sights that you will get to see in Ooty. Located 20 kms away from Ooty and addition of a boat house and restaurant. Best place for photo picture.

Emerald Dam Ooty (6:00 am – 5:00 pm)

Emerald Lake is a popular picnic spot for the locals, being a perfect place to spend a day with your family away from the city crowd and quiet, solitary place. The Emerald dam was constructed in 1961.
