[23/10/2024]: Due to rain in the western ghats hills region, All falls in Coutrallam closed temporarily for safety purpose.
[30/09/2024]: Due to rain at night in the western ghats region of Pothigai hills Main falls and five falls in Courtallam temporary closed and visitors not allowed to bath. Bathing allowed in Old Courtallam falls & Tiger Falls.

[13/07/2024]: Sudden flood at Coutrallam Main falls at nigh, So the falls closed at night and after normal water flow, it again opened from 9am onwards.
[06/07/2024]: Coutrallam Boat House opened for tourist from 6th July, 2024 onwards. The pond filled with water after getting sufficient rain. Operating hours will be 9am – 5pm.
[04/07/2024]: Old Coutrallam falls closing time extend to 8pm. Usually the falls closed at 5.30pm. For the request of tourists demand the corporation extend the time limit. So the opening hours will be 6am – 8pm.
