This package start from Tirunelveli or Tenkasi pickup and travel to Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve located 500m above sea level and 50km from Tirunelveli city. Mundanthurai and Karaiyar are in the southern part of the Western Ghats in the Tirunelveli district under Kalakad Mundandurai Tiger Reserve forest region. It’s a reserved forest area where tigers live, and not everyone can go there. The best time to visit is from July to May. The weather is nice all year, so it’s a great place for a peaceful vacation.

How to Reach Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve?

Mundanthurai Forest is located in the nested of Western Ghats of Tamil Nadu, about 50km from Tirunelveli. The hills are about 500 meters high, so the weather there is nice and cool. The closest airport is Tuticorin Airport, and the nearest train station is Tirunelveli Railway Station. You can use local transport from these places to get to Manjolai Hills.

There may be limited accommodation options in and around Mundanthurai Hills. It’s advisable to plan and book accommodations in advance by 15 days
