Happiness is… A bike ride into the nature!!!
Greetings Friends, am going to share my bike ride involvement in Sathyamangalam Forest (Native Place for Mr.Veerapan the Great Hero) located in the Junction of Western Ghats and Eastern Ghats Range in Erode district of Tamil Nadu.
Fauna of this woods are Bengal tigers, Elephants, Striped Hyenas, Indian Gaur, Sloth Bear, Lepoards, Sambar and Spotted deers, Black bucks, Antelopes… So folks on the off chance that you need to invest some energy with the natural life means am certain it would be the better one.
I did my PG Degree in Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam, Erode. So and to some degree know about the spot. In Jun 2019 I got an opportunity to go there in bicycle, Forgot to tell I am having Honda Unicorn, Just by Bike I began my Journey around 6 am Friday morning from Tirunelveli to Coimbatore (around 380 km) I come to by 2.30 Pm and oblige with my companion he is in Ghandipuram. On next Morning began my ride to the forest which was 75 km a long way from Coimbatore. I achieved my point precisely at 7.30 am.
Sathyamangalam Forest
There is a Border check present we need on notice every one of our subtleties and demonstrate our RC book and Insurance duplicate to the Department Staff . Before entering the check post there is well known traveler’s heaven Bannari Amman Temple is there. I didn’t know the full history yet I heard before that Mr.Veerpan had visited this temple many time when he was alive that is the reason I visited this temple. At that point I return to my on mode finished the customs at that point began to ride. Didn’t take Morning breakfast just my devices are, Power bank, BT Headset, mobile,1 ltr water bottle, 1 knife, 2 sets of dress and my bike that is all so minimal tired of past day riding and hungry. I stop one outsider to take image of mine for recollections.
Bannari Amman Temple
Here I have to go to Hasanur then I chose to make a substitute arrangement. After 27 Hairpin Bends then Dhinbam one little town at an elevation of 1300 m from ocean level, at that point I came to Hasanur . Wow in transit I completely appreciated the wonderful all encompassing perspective all over, loaded with green and passing mists. It took 90 mints for me to reach Hasanur and come to by 10.30 am a direct result of high height I felt excessively cold yet delighted in well I saw a few retreats and 2 lodgings there.
Sathyamangalam bike ride
Thank God said myself and went to inn in light of the fact that am as of now starving however my awful breakfast was overed. I have to sit tight 1 more hour for lunch, what to do had some rusk and tea. After completing it I had 1 hrs all the more so I chose to meander in wilderness street it’s a decent minutes I had. No DSLR in my grasp that is the greatest downside in this excursion, two elephants remaining inside the forested areas and the sounds made by them was unnerving, I can’t go ahead because am just one there no vehicles crossed me for 15 mints. So just I climb one tree and making the most of their grassing and return.
Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve
Presently it’s around 1.15 pm Lunch was prepared and had a pleasant Non veg Meals, by 2 pm I began my arrival outing to Tirunelveli. Night time I overlooked yet it’s around 10.30 I come to Madurai and remained in my uncles Home .Then By Sunday early morning I began my voyage and achieve my home around 8.30 am…That’s all!
